9月5日晚上9点, ACSIP的理事与会员与深圳市的清华研究院(http://www.tsinghua-sz.edu.cn)的副院长刘伟强进行了一个多小时的电话会议. 清华研究院的院, 2位高管和相关企业,力合传感科技的创办人张超对本协会介绍了研究院对深圳市产业发展的几个重点高科技产业(IT产品和服务是其中一个)的甄别作用和孵化过程。 会议还提及和北京清华大学的院系和其附属公司的互动体系。

会议纪要如下:

清华研究院在对个人科研成果的鉴定是委托北京清华本部和附属公司的. 本部和公司的专家学者对海归科研成果的可行性和改进空间提出意见.

• 清华研究院负责对甄别通过的成果进行全方面孵化支持, 范围包括融资, 场地, 人员以及政府政策等各种资源.
• 院长简要介绍了研究院的历史和组织结构, 特别是所附属融资公司, 去年研究院融资共达十几亿元.
• 力合公司的创办人/CEO 张超把在深圳创业经历和同清华研究院合作的历程同ACSIP进行了交流. 并阐述了海归创业的所需要注意的一些要点

And also thanks Jared for giving us the investment knowledge that most IT professional with high income tax bracket are interested in. On Jan.28 event at Chinese Cultural Centre of Greater Toronto was a big success. On behalf of the event organizers, we would like to express our deepest appreciation for your active participation and hope you enjoyed it. Also give our special thanks to Dr. Zhou Songnian for his excellent speech.

Known for his pioneering work in Load Sharing Facility (LSF) technology and his great achievement as CEO, Chairman, and a co-founder of Platform Computing, Dr. Zhou has become a shining example of talented and capable Chinese Canadian.

When talking to an enthusiastic crowd of 200 more Chinese Canadian professionals, Dr. Zhou not only pointed out current IT industrial revolutions, but also shared his visions about opportunities and challenges in both Canada and China.

To further inspire Chinese Canadian professionals to achieve personal and professional fulfillment, he urged his audience starting with his/her mind in life and willing to adapt, change, and take on new challenges.

The main theme of the third event focused on IT product business plan. One of ACSIP members Raymond Lin had given a presentation on VRV‘s IT security solution and IT workshop environments respectively.

The main theme of the second event focused on IT business idea evaluation. One of ACSIP members, senior IT expert, M.Y. had given a presentation on AJAX.

ACSIP is proud to present the First Public Event sponsored by ZTE Canada and CM(China Motion Telecom) Canada.The First Public Event of ACSIP attracted around 50 top IT professionals and business owners looking for more business ideas and opportunities.
